Dr. Bela Sethi (PT)

Director, Physical Therapy Clinic

Dr.Bela Sethi (PT), director of PTC is a practicing physiotherapy clinician with more than 40 years of experience. Her expertise includes, but is not limited to, the management of pediatric, adult and geriatric patients with orthopedic and neurological disorders. 

Fundamental to the practice is her belief that therapy should facilitate the body’s natural healing process using movement based therapies (exercises), manual therapy and therapeutic physical agents – such as LASER, Interferential current therapies (IFT), Ultrasound (US) She manages three successful private practices in Delhi/NCR – one in South Delhi another in Gurgaon and the third is an outsourced department in Venkateshwar Hospital, Dwarka. She manages an organization with 19 staff members out of which 16 are qualified Physiotherapists, who are registered members of the Delhi Council of Physical Therapists and Occupational Therapists.

Her clientele include Heads of multi-national businesses, ambassadors, consul generals, cabinet ministers, senior government officials, members of the Indian judiciary, national and state level athletes, and senior members of the armed forces. She has served as Honorary Physiotherapist to two former Presidents of the Republic of India.

She is actively involved in the enhancement of the ethical practice and standards of education in the field of physiotherapy and influencing policy in areas related to the rehabilitation of persons with disabilities. At a personal level she continues to be involved in an effort geared towards the establishment of an All India Physiotherapy Council under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India.

Dr. Raju K Parasher, MSc, EdD, PT

Senior Consultant

Dr Parasher has been working as a clinical physiotherapist/physical therapist for over 30 years. His primary area of interest has been neuro-physiotherapy, but over the years he has developed an interest and expertise in most aspects of physiotherapy practice such as musculoskeletal, sports, paediatrics, gerontology, wellness, and traditional medicine as it relates to physiotherapy. His experience as a clinical therapist has spanned several countries around the world, including India, Sweden and the US (Illinois, Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey). 

In addition to practicing as a clinician, Dr Parasher has concurrently worked in the field of academia. After receiving his doctorate (Motor Learning) from Teachers College, Columbia University, USA, and Master of Science in Physiotherapy (Neurology) from the University of Health Sciences/Chicago Medical School, North Chicago, USA, he has held several academic positions at New York University (NYU), Seton Hall University, and at the Amar Jyoti Institute of Physiotherapy, University of Delhi, where he was the founder Director/Principal. He continues to advise (as co-supervisor) PhD students across several Universities. His research interests at the postgraduate level are: motor control, motor learning, physiotherapy education, research methodology and statistics. 

He recently finished academic assignments as an Associate Professor in the Department of Graduate Programs in Health Sciences, Seton Hall University, NJ, USA, and as Principal/Director at the Amar Jyoti Institute of Physiotherapy, University of Delhi, Delhi, India.

Dr Vasudha Sethi (PT)

Senior Physical Therapist

Dr Vasudha Sethi qualified physical therapist and licensed Lymphedema specialist  from Norton School of Lymphatic Therapy, New Jersey, U.S.A. She has specialised in Manual Lymphatic Drainage and Total Decongestive Therapy ( MLD/CDT) for limbs, Head and Neck.  She has been treating  lymphedema patients since 2008. Her association with the Physical Therapy Clinic has been for more than 16 years, an organisation involved in outpatient physical therapy care and the Venkateshwar Hospital with OPD as well as IPD set up since 2019, respectively.

She has treated patients of all age groups and all walks of life. She has a keen interest in Pain management , neurologic and orthopaedic conditions in adults and children alike.

The inspiration behind working at PTC, with an understanding of physical therapy and being a Lymphatic Therapist today, she is in the perfect position to try and be a part of this paradigm shift that PTC hopes to initiate, involving patients, their families and where appropriate additional specialities (like neurology/ Oncology/ Sports medicine/ Orthopaedics/ geriatric care ) to provide multi-disciplinary care to patients.
